1001 Nights! Scheherazade weaves her tales through Rimsky-Korsakov's epic work. In true Inventi style, they take on the challenge of arranging this large scale work for small ensemble. Rich storytelling paired with incredible music, this concert weaves tale after tale from the story of 1001 nights including 3 brand new works by Australian composers. Their recent recording of this performance debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts in 2024.

Founded in 2014 by Artistic Directors Ben Opie and Melissa Doecke, the ensemble has redefined the chamber music experience through a fusion of traditional repertoire and cutting-edge contemporary works.
