SATURDAY 24 MAY, 8PM

MICF and HPAC present: Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow

Australia’s most iconic comedy tour is hitting the road for a huge 27th year! Bringing together the brightest stars from the 2025 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, we’re delivering top-tier humour straight to Hamilton!

Featuring a dynamic line-up of comedy legends and fresh faces, this year’s Roadshow promises nation-wide happiness.

Marcel Blanch-de Wilt is an award-winning stand-up, improviser, writer, and director. He has performed in the US, UK, NZ, and every capital city in Australia. Marcel has been fortunate enough to MC all the best comedy clubs across the country. Marcel has performed seven solo shows that he has toured to the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe, Bondi Festival, and the Sydney Comedy Festival. Marcel is an in-demand director. He has directed several stand-up shows including Steph Broadbridge, Ting Lim, Oliver Hunter, and Lizzy Hoo’s special for Amazon Prime. He is the host of The Comedy Writers Group Podcast and performs alongside his wife in their improv duo The Newlyweds

Matt Stewart started performing stand up comedy, quickly hitting his stride and winning Australia’s largest open mic stand-up comedy competition, RAW Comedy, in 2014. He has performed sell out shows across Australia and the UK since 2015. Matt also co-hosts the popular AACTA award nominated podcast, Do Go On (and it's spin off Who Knew It with Matt Stewart) which has had millions of downloads from fans across the globe.

Alexandra Hudson shares entertaining little musings about her experiences as a disabled woman and her observations about the mostly foreign non-disabled world she lives in. In 2022 Alexandra became the National winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Raw Comedy Competition and a So You Think You’re Funny finalist at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Alexandra's list of accomplishments include, opening for Hannah Gadsby, writing for ABC Everyday, and was a 2023/2024 recipient of the Creative Australia’s Arts and Disability Initiative which saw her touring her accessible and Auslan interpreted debut solo hour 'Making Lemonade" throughout Australia, and returning to The Edinburgh Festival Fringe for a full 2024 season.

Bronwyn Kuss misses a time when hobbies were hobbies – things you did for the love of it and not as a side hustle. So, she set out to write a show that celebrates passion without profit. I’ll Allow It is a love letter to unprofitable and unproductive pursuits. Though she would still really like to make millions off comedy.
It’s been a huge couple of years for Bronwyn. Her 2022 debut solo show won the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Director’s Choice Award and saw her nominated for Best Newcomer. In 2024 she won the Festival’s Pinder Prize and with that headed to Edinburgh where she wowed the crowds with her signature delivery.
A writer and comedian who specialises in giving extremely dry recounts of everyday experiences to astonishing comedic effect, Bronwyn has supported the likes of Hannah Gadsby, Nish Kumar, Mel Buttle and has performed on the Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala.
Incredibly likeable and wonderfully witty, Bronwyn Kuss exudes the seasoned finesse of a veteran comedian, effortlessly turning a roomful of people into a cascade of laughter.

Con Coutis is an award-winning comedian from Melbourne. His mix of stand-up and sound effects has seen his 2023 show “Con vs Con Vs Con” nominated for best independent show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Best Comedy at the Melbourne Fringe Festival. His 2024 show, CON 2077, had a sold out season at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and won the Sound and Technical Excellence award at the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
