HPAC Presents Dispatches from the Frontline
Sister Nan Reay's diary unfolds in WW1 frontline reading.
Dispatches from the Frontline is a performed reading by Geraldine Cook-Dafner of excerpts from the diary of a Victorian nurse, Sister Nan Reay.
Sister Reay was born in Coleraine, trained at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and served for four grueling years behind the frontlines of the battlefields of WW1.
These “dispatches” celebrate this nurse’s duty, personal resilience, courage and tenacity; traits that resonate in these current troubled times of war.
We also encourage schools to bring their students along to this performance. School booking enquiries can be made to HPAC Box Office - 5573 0429 or via email: Schools Booking Enquiry
