Caitlin and Oscar used to be mates, but not anymore. Six months after the death of Oscar’s brother/Caitlin’s boyfriend, Caitlin and Oscar haven’t spoken.
These days, Caitlin texts boys to meet her in public parks while Oscar eats his lunch in the teacher’s staffroom. But when Caitlin sends Oscar a text message, he comes running. Caitlin is scared. She convinces an unsuspecting Oscar to run away with her. To go “full on missing".
Hell's Canyon is a new coming of age drama about friendship and rebellion that directly connects to a youth audience..
Warning: This production contains sexual references and occasional coarse language.
The production deals with sensitive themes such as death and grief. These are contextualised through considered script writing and direction of the work, reflecting a modern day representation of the adolescents and young adults in Australia today.

If the Australian Shakespeare Company cancels the performance due to inclement weather the performance will be reschedule to the following night (March 8th, 2020) and your tickets will be valid for that performance. If the rescheduled 8th March 2020 performance is also cancelled due to inclement weather the Australian Shakespeare Company will provide you with a lifetime credit note for the value of your tickets (not including any booking or handling fees) which can be used for any ASC performances anytime anywhere. A credit note will only be offered if the performance is officially cancelled. When a performance is cancelled in advance of the scheduled start time due to weather conditions, where possible and time permitting, every effort is made to inform ticket holders by SMS or telephone.

Michael has worked extensively in London, Europe, and at home here in Australia. Some of his theatre credits include Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Chess, Woman in White, Sunset Boulevard and Jesus Christ Superstar. He has also appeared often on Carols by Candelight and has performed for Her Majesty the Queen on three different occasions.

Straight from the score and onto the stage, the man known as Mozart appears amid a storm of powder, tumbling and twirling, as musical mayhem and movement fuse in this family show with a circus twist.
To those who know him, he is Wolfgang, the dart-playing, pun-loving ratbag. To those who are watching and listening, he is the wigged genius Mozart. Come and discover his irrepressible spirit and vibrant compositions through physical comedy and mischievous antics.
Designed to amaze people from the age of three and upwards, Wolfgang reinvents the composer’s magical music in a skilful and illuminating show featuring Circa’s dexterous daredevil artists and a live accordionist. Watch as the notes are physically lifted off the page as performers bring the renowned compositions to life amidst a storm of powder, tumbles and crashes, all under the eccentric swirl of the conductor’s baton.
The performance is a visual feast, and keeps kids on a roller coaster of surprises throughout the show.
This is the perfect family show, where kids and adults alike will have a great time, though little ones under the age of five years might be scared in some scenes.

Mozart was among the most famous pianists of his day, but was also a highly skilled violinist and violist. While still in his teens, Mozart was appointed concertmaster in the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg’s orchestra. It was during this appointment, in 1775, that he penned all five of his violin concertos.
The fourth concerto is a favourite of violinists and audiences, by turns effervescent and charming, and infused with Mozart’s effortless operatic sense of melody. To perform it, we are joined by violinist Sophie Rowell.
This concert also includes symphonies from the 1770s by close members of Mozart’s circle, and a delectable suite by Sibelius reflecting on romantic aspects of Finnish rural life.

Ever wondered if you’re doing it right? Well did you read the label? Life didn’t come with a label, but you will be told your whole life how you should behave or who you should be. You will be told that if you have aproblem, there’s a quick fix you can buy… but somehow the problem doesn’t everseem to really go away.
Jude Perl’s insight into her personal and relatable mental health struggles of being an adult, will make you want to sing along, cry and laugh all at once. Sometimes labels are super useful, particularly when you’re washing your fave jumper. But at other times, labels can halt your growth and supress you’re very existence. Jude reminds us when to be aware of these labels, and when the labels are totally useless – and most importantly, that we are not alone. She’ll talk about some tough stuff, make you laugh and make you feel truly human.
