‘Lovingly lampoons wine snobbery.’ ★★★★ – Artshub
Ever wondered what wine goes best with Fairy Bread? Why hasn’t the ‘Champagne Spider’ caught on? These questions and many more will be inadequately answered by the self-styled sommeliers of comedy, Damian Callinan and Paul Calleja.
After intoxicating sold out audiences across the country, The Wine Bluffs are here to do what they do best: bullsh*t about wine. Laying spurious claim to a reputation as renowned wine consultants, the duo, fresh from judging the Fruit Wine Section at The Rockhampton Show, will take you through the cellar door experience with a comedic twist.
The union of Callinan [Melbourne Fringe Comedy winner & three time Barry Award Nominee] and Calleja [stand up and writer on Before The Game & countless other TV shows] has everyone’s palate salivating as they prepare to uncork their latest vintage and let the comedy breathe.
Looking for a laugh? The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is coming to town. Forget I-Spy, spotto and stale servo snacks, this road trip is jam-packed with a crew of fantastically funny comedians, specially selected to bring the fun of the Festival to towns and cities around the nation.
For 20 years the Melbourne International Comedy Festival has been touring far and wide, bringing giggles, guffaws and good times to Australia and further afield. Whether you’re in Katherine, Quirindi, Kyneton or Cairns, you can still experience Australia’s largest and best-loved comedy festival in your own backyard. We’ve got over 80 destinations on the laugh-laden schedule, and a line-up of artists to tickle anyone’s funny bone. The Roadshow really has something for everyone!

Four women. Many stories. A century of service.
Follow the personal journeys of four women, Lilian, Mary, Tam and Catherine, united in their determination to utilise their skills in the field of medicine on active service within the military.
From the pioneers of World War One, first denied military service, throughout the battles of World War two- through contemporary conflicts, and as peacekeepers in times of humanitarian crisis; these and other stories come to life in vivid accounts of revelation, loss, struggle and kinship. Together they share moments of hope and humour that punctuate the otherwise harrowing task of conflict medicine.
“It is so timely as we move towards the conclusion of the Anzac centenary commemorations that women’s voices are included in our national narrative. Carolyn and Helen have delivered an exceptionally powerful and faithful depiction of their adventures from the battlefields of World War I through to contemporary operations in Afghanistan.”

AUSTRALIA’S PREMIER PINK FLOYD TRIBUTE ANNOUNCES MASSIVE 2019 “THE WALL” 40th ANNIVERSARY TOUR
Australia’s largest scale Pink Floyd concept act Echoes of Pink Floyd is celebrating 40 years since the release of the iconic and career defining double album for Pink Floyd – “The Wall”.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the seminal album’s release, Echoes of Pink Floyd will perform “The Wall” in its entirety, along with an encore featuring a special selection of Pink Floyd’s greatest hits.
“The Wall” was the eleventh studio album by the English rockers and was released on November 30 1979. It topped the US Billboard charts for 15 weeks and became the band’s second best-selling album and one of the best-selling albums of all time. It was adapted into a feature film and the single from the album, titled “Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2”, was the band’s first and only number-one single.
Formed in 2009 and with thousands of hours of rehearsal and live performance behind them, Echoes of Pink Floyd comprises a six-piece band featuring Daniel Hunter on lead guitar; Jason Miller on drums; Mark Dole on bass; Paul Bindig on keyboards and synthesisers; Mark MacNab on rhythm and acoustic guitar and Matt Goodluck on lead vocals. The band’s aim is to authentically replicate the brilliant sights and sounds of one of the world’s greatest progressive rock bands of all time, Pink Floyd. The Adelaide-based tribute has been touring nationally since 2014, with audiences describing the show as “amazingly awesome” and “a musical and visual journey that never disappoints”, whilst also likening them to “the original band”

“If I could not grasp the truth about women in the past, why bother about women in the future?” Virginia Woolf
In Sentient Theatre’s inaugural piece, we celebrate the beautiful literacy and conceptual genius of Virginia Woolf, one of the greatest writers of the 20th Century, and her classic work, A Room of One’s Own.
The piece both energetically debates and gently reflects on the history of gender disparity, while keeping Woolf’s striking use of metaphor and charming humour alive.
“A Room of One’s Own [is] witty, supple, and conducted in a spirit of restless inquiry, anchoring emotion with intellect, infusing argument with narrative technique. This luminous, accessible production captures the beauty of Woolf’s prose and the complexity of her ideas [and] gives her potent words vivid voice.” Cameron Woodhead, The Age
Daniel Thompson’s Johnny Cash Live
Back to San Quentin – 50 Years On
In 1969, off the back of the huge success of 1968’s At Folsom Prison album, Johnny Cash recorded the second of his legendary prison albums at California’s notorious maximum security prison, San Quentin.
With the Folsom album kick starting a golden era of Cash’s career, At San Quentin continued his meteoric rise to his place as a legendary figure and icon of 20th century popular music.
During the February 24 recording session, in typical Johnny Cash fashion, he got the already enthusiastic inmates on side with his song San Quentin which opens with the lyrics “San Quentin, you’ve been living hell to me” and he immediately replayed the song at the request of his cheering audience with both versions included on the original release of the At San Quentin album. Most notably the album included the worldwide smash hit single, A Boy Named Sue, which undeniably made Cash a global superstar and household name. Sue became Cash’s highest ever charting single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was only held out of the number one spot by the Rolling Stones ‘Honky Tonk Women’.
50 Years on, Daniel Thompson’s Johnny Cash Live hits the road celebrating this legendary album and the career of the Man in Black.
A brand new show featuring more than 35 hits, Back to San Quentin – 50 Years On includes the great moments of the San Quentin album plus hits and favourites spanning Cash’s entire 50 year recording career.
After 6 National tours and having performed more than 175 shows, Johnny Cash Live has become lauded as one of Australia’s premier tribute acts. With powerhouse backing band, The Tennessee Express and led by Australia’s own Man in Black, Daniel Thompson, Johnny Cash Live presents an unforgettable night paying tribute to one of music’s most iconic and influential figures.
With more than 60 thousand tickets sold Australia wide, don’t miss your chance to see what has audiences on their feet and coming back each year for more.
This new show will be presented in two parts and feature all of the hits in a nostalgic trip down memory lane in a multimedia concert event. The video component of the show has been completely reworked with a brand new script to help to tell the story of the amazing career of the Brothers Gibb.
